The World Wide Web server (HTTP server) running on our OpenVMS machine BKFUG (an Alphaserver 2000) is a DECthreads(tm) application written at Ohio State. The current version used here is 3.5.

Unfortunately, by the end of 1999 our Computer Department will discontinue all VMS services (probably to avoid Y2K comparison...). Therefore this web server will die as well, together with all the other good pieces of software running smoothly together. As this server had a very good performance compared to other freeware (as Apache) products, I put a few details on this de-facto state-of-the-art VMS web server below:
